Campus Life has spruced up CougarLink, giving it a better look, making it accessible for students and faculty and adding some features to make it more enjoyable to use. All the events and information students are looking for about Campus Life, Athletics, academic deadlines or events going on in the community are available on CougarLink.
The updated CougarLink provides more user friendly features.

Andrea Hunting, coordinator of communications and technology for Campus Life, said the CougarLink now is more user friendly. Before, CougarLink was just a list of events that did not entice students or faculty to get involved. Now, CougarLink not only lists the date and time of an event, it also features a small calendar, description of the events, and includes photos. This gives students a clear sense of their opportunities for involvement. The added links allow viewers to browse the events and information with no confusion. CougarLink also allows hands-on access to news and events. Anyone can post events for campus activities or for any clubs on campus, Liz Weise, Campus Life office assistant, said.
In addition to being easier to use, CougarLink also has other new features that add to its convenience. Hunting said it connects to external sites such as Facebook, Twitter, text messaging and e-mail to provide event invitations and reminders.
CougarLink is accessible through eServices and at www.ccis.edu/academics/cougarlink/.
