Staff profiles

Meet The Columbian team

Amanda Noel is the current editor of The Columbian. She is a junior majoring in environmental studies and minoring in English and speech communication. After graduating she plans on getting a master’s degree in natural resource recreation and tourism.

Columbia College junior Robert Schmidt is serving as assistant editor and reporting on campus life for The Columbian this year. He is working to complete his degree in political science and a minor in history. He is planning on continuing to graduate school after graduation.

Wayne Boykin is a junior speech communication major and marketing minor. He is covering athletics for The Columbian this semester. Wayne is very active on campus and hopes to travel the world after graduation, informing people about gay and lesbian issues.
